Fathers always give a fake smile. Always.

My cousin got married and at the time of vidai (valediction), the bride was crying so badly and so did her mom. Automatically I cried too, because emotional person I am, I cry over petty things. :'(

And the bride's dad came and asked his daughter to make it fast as it was getting late, with a perfect calm smile on his face.

My another cousin died in 2009, and everyone was crying like hell that day. Our family had lost a young blood, who wanted to join the defence, but his dad was consoling others instead. I didn’t see a single drop of tear in his eyes, but saw him radiant like a sunflower, asking others to stop crying. But when he went to the room, and he was alone, he was crying like a baby. I saw him, as I went to the room for some work. He wiped his tears when he saw me.

Read below.

And in this situation, when my uncle needed the utmost support he was comforting everyone with a pure, soft and broken smile.

Why men aren't supposed to cry?

Why?

The fakest emotion.

My dad makes it too.

He gets hurt too, but he never shows.

He does everything for his family, but hardly does anything for himself.

This Eid, he didn’t even buy anything for himself, rather wore the kurta pyjama (a traditional Indian attire for men) my uncle gifted him.

:'(

Why daddy why???

I love my papa.

:)
