The Land of Lakes in Russia

Good day everyone. In this article, I am going to share with you some beautiful places in Russia which I visited before moving to the village near Caucuses.

This place is in Sharypovsky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai. The area of the district is 3,751 square kilometers (1,448 sq mi). Not big. But there are almost 300 lakes in such a small area. People call it “the land of lakes”.

I basically will write about the most beautiful lakes situated in the Sharypovsky district. The first is called the Great Lake (in Russian — “Bolshoe”). I have camped on this lake repeatedly. And it is one of the superb places for it. I was lucky to camp there. The good thing is that you won’t find a lot of mosquitoes. The bad thing is that, in summer weekends, there are lot of tourists and sometimes it can be a problem to find a good place to camp.

I woke up very early just to see the sunrise and to take some photos. In my opinion, the most stunning views can only be seen during the sunrise. Everything around just wakes up and becomes alive just like a new world. And the feelings you get are priceless.

On the left is Lake “Maloe”. And on the right is Lake “Krugloe”. The most interesting thing about these two lakes is that they are at a different level. And the water of lake “Krugloe” flows into “Maloe”. There is a small waterfall. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of this waterfall.

The most gorgeous lake I think is Krugloe. You will never forget the feeling when you see it for the first time. This lake is the symbol of the Sharypovsky District.

Traveling to this place was meaningful for me because I started to think about moving to the village, being closer to nature.

It is not a popular place for traveling. And I really can’t understand why. It is one of the most amazing places which I have seen. Probably it is good to point out that it is not popular. These places are much better without any tourists. You can enjoy the feeling of silence and solitude. The feeling of connecting with this place. Feeling of deep freedom. And it is definitely about this place.

Sometimes I am like a child. I wonder how it is possible to create such beauty. I think we need to be a bit like children. God wants us to be surprised and appreciate the beauty he created for all of us.

Sorry for my simplicity. But this world is full of complicated things.
