How to talk to your sub conscious mind?

Recently I happen to get into a discussion on subconscious mind. Some people understand the word sub conscious as something they talk to when they are asleep.

It gives you the guts to face people, to give back, take you back from fear of failure, fear of something big, fear of someone noticing you etc.. Dealing with sub conscious mind is something we have to work on. By working on this, we can know ourselves better.

The below simple steps can help you understand yourself and also give you a way ahead how to handle situations much better:

If somebody compliments you are good looking, you feel you are good looking. If somebody else also tells you are good looking, you feel great like a Model! But do you actually feel you are good looking from yourself? Ask! And find out the answer. If answer matches, why were you not in the profession of modelling? You could have been!

As an example, take some time everyday thinking how you want to spend the evening with your family. Thinking is an act of talking to your sub conscious mind. This clears out the fact that you cleanse your mind on what you want to do. Cook for them, play with kids, gossip with family members, share a joy from your workplace.. could be anything.

Ask your mind, do you want to do it? Your mind is also tricky, it will not give you an answer right away and always keep you in dilemma. Try this for some days, then you will realise that talking to yourself and listening to yourself helps in solving many emotional challenges.

Be it at workplace or at home. Intuition is something your sub conscious mind is trying to tell you or asking you to make a decision. If you don’t listen then you will go with the flow on what others say or other’s sub conscious mind tell them which might be conflicting to you.

Listening is a skill which everyone have to develop. It takes a lot to tame yourself to listen and its taxing to keep the mind always alert and react accordingly.

By not listening, we make conscious decision on a pre-defined decision or on a way which will suit everyone. Listen, understand, process the message in your sub conscious mind and then react! Yes, you have to react after listening. That is the way your sub conscious mind has tamed you.

With the IT world coming in with notepads and laptops, writing is a skill which you have to learn after graduation again! It takes a lot to bring in back the practice of writing.

Writing physically first brings your sub conscious and conscious mind to talk to each other the right way of putting it on paper, prioritising them and act accordingly upon them. Sometimes expressing by words on a talk is less mightier that writing. Bring in the power of writing [which I am also doing via this blog].

The first time we feel good about something, we actually see some change in us like excited, happy, cheerful.. but when the same recur the intensity of the same will be much less. Have you ever wondered why this is the case?

They felt happy, excited, saw the cheer.. and you felt it. Try understanding the feeling once and take it for real and see the magic. Things around you will change and things around you will be much more positive.

Being a good listener is good in expressing it but do you think you are practicing them? Practicing what!! Practicing the fact that you have to listen, process and then react. It’s not one time job, but an ongoing processing in your mind.
